The Polish Community Trust, Bay of Plenty, New Zealand, was officially incorporated under the Charitable Trusts Act 1957 on 27 May 2013.

Bruno Stankiewicz donated a Holy Family picture to the church. He brought it to New Zealand after visiting family in Gdańsk in the 1980s.

Plaque; Fryderyk Chopin

A plaque was placed and unveiled by Polish Ambassador Beata Stoczynska on 16 March 2014. This was one in a series placed around New Zealand as part of the programme – Polish trails in New Zealand. Celebration of 40th anniversary of Polish-New Zealand diplomatic relationship.
